29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1)(iv): Electric equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause serious physical harm to employees, such as damaged electrical insulation: On or about December 10, 2013 at the Darling International Facility- employees were exposed to serious injuries due to electrical shock, fire, or burns, in that flexible cords on a Rotary Skillsaw were found to be in disrepair with damaged or missing outer insulation, abrasions, and splices made with electrical tape. Abatement certification is not required for this item.
