29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: a) On or about 11/7/13, employee(s) were using an air hose without a pressure reducing wand end at machine #33 2-3 times per week to stop plastic drool at the machine during startup. The air pressure in the plant measured 120 p.s.i. on the compressor gauge. b) On or about 11/7/13, an air hose without a pressure reducing wand end was wrapped up by machine #34 . ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
