29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by rotating and moving parts: a) Maintenance Shop: 1. A Wilton horizontal metal band saw had an unguarded portion of the run of the blade exposing operators to the hazards of rotating edges of the blade 2. A Wilton drill press was not guarded to prevent employee contact with rotating chuck and drill bit 3. Drum/chuck of a Moriseiki horizontal lathe was not guarded to prevent employee contact with rotating parts b) Bottle Line # 1 Palletizer: Moving parts of a PAI 6300 Series palletizer on the side which was not protected by photo electric eye was not guarded to prevent employee contact with moving parts.
