29 CFR 1910.157(g)(1): An educational program was not provided for all employees to familiarize them with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting: (a) Throughout Facility - Employees working with combustible and flammable gases and oils were not trained on the use of fire extinguishers, on or about 5/28/13. Abatement Note: Among other feasible means of abatement, the employer may provide training on the use of portable fire extinguishers or develop an evacution program.
