29 CFR 1910.1026(k)(1)(i)(A): The employer did not make medical surveillance available for all employees who were or could be occupationally exposed to chromium (VI) at or above the action level for 30 or more days a year: a) Great Dane, Rear Frame Assembly Area: An employee, welder at the setup table, was exposed to hexavalent chromium at an 8-hour time-weighted average of 9.13 micrograms per cubic meter of air, approximately 1.8 times the Permissible Exposure Limit of 5 micrograms per cubic meter of air. Sampling was performed for 451 minutes on March 11, 2013. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of time. The employer did not make medical surveillance available to all employees who were or could be exposed over the Action Level for hexavalent chromium. b) Great Dane, Rear Frame Assembly Area: An employee, welder at the finish table, was exposed to hexavalent chromium at an 8-hour time-weighted average of 2.77 micrograms per cubic meter of air, approximately 1.1 times the Action Level of 2.5 micrograms per cubic meter of air. Sampling was performed for 440 minutes on March 11, 2013. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of time. The employer did not make medical surveillance available to the employee. c) Great Dane, Rear Frame Assembly Area: An employee, welder at the finish table, was exposed to hexavalent chromium at an 8-hour time-weighted average of 4.01 micrograms per cubic meter of air, approximately 1.6 times the Action Level of 2.5 micrograms per cubic meter of air. Sampling was performed for 450 minutes on March 11, 2013. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of time. The employer did not make medical surveillance available to the employee.
