29 CFR 1926.952(c)(1): All derrick trucks, cranes and other lifting equipment shall comply with Subpart N and O of this part except (i) As stated in 1926.550(a)(15)(i) and (ii) relating to clearance (for clearances in this subpart see Table V-1) and (ii) Derrick trucks (electric line trucks) shall not be required to comply with 1926.550(a)(7)(vi), (a)(17), (b)(2) and (e): On or about 05/25/2011, during a pole setting operation, the winch and auger attachment on a digger derrick truck was not maintained at a mininum working distance of 2 feet from an energized and exposed 7200 volt distribution line.
