29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system. a) Lot 296 Harlequin Loop, Heritage Shore, Bridgeville, DE - Two employees of Walter H Sharp & Son Inc., were working in an unprotected excavation approximately 8 deep, approximately 12 to 14 wide and approximately 12 long. This resulted in cave-in and the death of the employee. This occurred on or about May 24, 2012.
