Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:04/22/14 Location:Front of House Condition:Employees were exposed to the hazard of being crushed/struck by 34-foot 6- inch long trusses that were not properly hoisted with an approved spreader bar. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to use a spreader bar in accordance with the Wood Truss Council of America recommendations per BCSI-BI.
