29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): The employer did not establish and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite specific procedures where respirators were necessary to protect the health of the employee(s) or whenever respirators were required by the employer: (a)Maintenance - Where employees were expected to approach the ammonia refrigeration system and stop the flow of liquid ammonia by manually closing the king valve and the employer provided full face respirators. The employer did not develop and implement a written respiratory protection program, on or about July 21, 2011, Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
