P.L. 91-596 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard(s) of: A) Storage area, on or about October 5, 2010, a job made platform used to lift employees with a forklift did not have adequate guardrails on all open sides, exposing employees to a fall hazard of more than 10 feet. One feasible and acceptable abatement method would be to install proper guardrails on all open sides of the platform. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED.TION
