29 CFR 1910.119(d)(2)(i)(E): Process safety information pertaining to the techno logy of the process did not include an evaluation of the consequence of deviatio ns, including those affecting the safety and health of employees: This violation was observed on or about 1/19/2010, where the employer did not evaluate the con sequences of deviating from established operating parameters. The employer acqui red the EC2 platform in 2004 and did not evaluate the equipment to determine the potential hazards associated with a deviation. This exposed employees to fire, explosion and chemical hazards by not having the necessary and required informat ion to identify and understand the potential hazards of the process and from the deviation thereof. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19(d), within 10 calendar days of th e date of the citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps it is taking to ensure that an evaluat ion of the consequences will be conducted to document the hazards associated wit h deviating from proper procedures.
