Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: Module D2A, Control Room of the Department of Correction, Bayamon 308 - While the employees did convicts surveillance works, among others, it was observed that the chair that the officer used was broken. Hazard: Falls. Among other methods, one feasible and aceptable method is to replace the broken chair with new chairs. Modulo D2A, del Cuarto Control del Departamento de Correccion, Bayamon 308- Mientras los empleados realizaban trabajos de vigilancia a confinados, entre otros, se observo que la silla que el oficial utilizaba estaba rota. Riesgo: Caidas. Entre los metodos de correccion, uno factible y aceptable es el reemplazo de las sillas rotas por sillas nuevas.
