North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a)facility wide -- below-the-hook lifting devices were not marked with the rated load of the device on the main structure where it is visible. NOTE:Among other feasible and acceptable methods of abatement of this hazard is to label all below-the-hook lifting devices with their rated loads as outlined in the above listed reference.hook
