Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Applegreen - Panda Express Restaurant: On or about 6/6/25, employees poured and sprayed corrosive chemicals such as but not limited to undiluted Dawn Multi-Surface Heavy Duty Degreaser (sodium hydroxide, monoethanolamine) and poured DCT Hi-Temp Grill Cleaner (potassium carbonate) to clean various surfaces and suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes were not provided in the work area for immediate emergency use. The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, failure to comply will result in additional penalty of $ 1,000.00.
