Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1026(k)(1)(i)(A): The employer did not make medical surveillance available for all employees who were or could be occupationally exposed to chromium (VI) at or above the action level for 30 or more days a year: On or about June 6, 2025, and times prior, employees conducting welding operations on stainless steel in the fabrication area were exposed to an airborne concentration to chromium (VI) at an 8-hour time weighed average (TWA) of 3.7 micrograms/cubic meter (�g/m�) of Chromium (VI), above the OSHA action level of 2.5 micrograms/cubic meter (�g/m�). The exposure level was derived from samples collected over a 450-minute sampling period, with zero exposure assumed for the period of 30 minutes, sampling conducted on June 6, 2025, and employees were not provided the opportunity for medical surveillance.
