29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv): Flexible cords and/ or cables were used for purposes prohibited by paragraphs (A) through (F) of 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(a). a. In the warehouse - On or about April 15, 2025, the employer exposed employees to electrical shock hazards, in that flexible cords, cables and relocatable power taps were used in place of permanent wiring. An extension cord was found, connected to a relocatable power tap and daisy-chained to another extension cord, routed beneath cardboard, floor mats, and conveyor machinery, and extending across the warehouse floor to supply power to multiple appliances, including but not limited to a microwave, electric fan, and refrigerator.
