29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a) 417 Columbia Blvd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08002: 3 Workers were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 20 feet to the ground surface below, when accessing to and egressing from a pitched roof using a portable ladder whose side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the surface being accessed/egressed. Condition observed on or about 04/09/2025. Angel Repairs, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1695888, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on November 3, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 4000 Ocean Heights Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
