29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge: a. On March 19, 2025, in the warehouse, the employer did not ensure that the exit route door in the warehouse locks only from the outside. Failure to have such a locking device installed on exit door(s) can limit employees ability to escape the facility in the event of an emergency, potentially exposing them to fire hazards.
