29 CFR 1910.1026(d)(2)(iv): The employer used the scheduled monitoring option, and monitoring revealed employee exposures to chromium (VI) to be above the permissible exposure limit; however, the employer did not perform periodic monitoring at least every three months: (a) On March 13, 2025; employees paint aircraft and aerospace parts with products containing hexavalent chromium. Results from personal air sampling conducted on November 13, 2024 for painting activities were above the Permissible Exposure Limit at 18ug/m3, 3.6 times higher than acceptable limits set by OSHA, and personal air sampling had not been accomplished again.
