Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered. (a) Production Facility Line 3000: On or about January 16, 2025, employees worked in close proximity to or directly beneath a low overhead mezzanine with exposed beams, piping and structural members that reduced clearance and created a risk of head injury. Employees were not provided with or required to wear head protection, such as hard hats or bump caps, while performing tasks in these areas. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
