Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.416(a)(3):The employer began work without determining if employees could contact any part of an energized circuit and did not post warning signs and advise employees of the location of the circuit, hazards, and protective measures they need to take: Midsun Group, Inc. at the jobsite located at 2385 Campbell Road in Sidney, Ohio; On or about November 14, 2024, the employer did not ensure through direct observation or by instrumentation whether any part of an energized electrical power circuit was located in a manner to which a person, tool, or machine could come into physical or electrical contact. Employees engaged in the refurbishment of the middle metal clad switch gear cabinet were exposed to electrical shock hazards associated with contact with 12kV in that the electrical energy feeding the BK-2M Bus was not verified to be isolated.
