29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2): Traffic control signs or devices, including signs, signals, markings, barricades, and other devices, used for protection of construction workers, did not conform to Part 6 of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices ("MUTCD"), incorporated by reference in 29 CFR 1926.6. Location: 126 Sanford Street, Brooklyn, NY. On or about 10/29/2024, a) Channeling devices were not used to establish the transition area and advanced warning signs were insufficient in the temporary traffic control zone. b) The traffic control signs for the west-bound traffic on Myrtle Avenue was insufficient and was not used in compliance with Part 6 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) for Streets and Highways. Employees working as flaggers exposed to struck-by-hazards.
