29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Unless specifically permitted otherwise in paragraph (g)(1)(ii) of this section, flexible cords and cables may not be used: As a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure; a) On or about October 29, 2024, the employer did not ensure that flexible cords were not used as a substitute for permanent wiring in that when using the Craftsman 3/8 in. portable electric drill employees were used an extension cord to connect it to the electrical outlet when mixing waffle batter.
