29 CFR 1926.501(b)(3): Each employee in a hoist area was not protected from falling 6 feet (1.8m) or more to lower levels by guardrail systems or personal fall arrest systems: a) Material Hoist Area- On or about September 21, 2024, employees utilizing a material hoist were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately twenty-nine (29) feet, 5 inches without the use of a fall protection system. b) Ladder Hoist Area- On or about September 21, 2024, employees utilizing a ladder to hoist materials were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately twenty-nine (29) feet, 5 inches without the use of a fall protection system.
