29 CFR 1910.157(g)(1): An educational program was not provided for all employees to familiarize them with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting. a) Alloy Wheel Specialists, d/b/a Wheel Collision Center - located at 231 Moorestown Dr., Bath, PA - On or about September 17, 2024, employees utilize flammable liquids, perform welding, and utilize flammable gases for heating metal. The employer provides fire extinguishers for incipient use, however the employer did not provide fire extinguisher training. Advanced Machine Systems, d/b/a Wheel Collision Center, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1580009, citation number 1, item number 3b, and was affirmed as a final order on June 30, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 231 Moorestown Dr., Bath, PA. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photograph or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
