29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(c): a) Tyre Road & Delaware Avenue Newark, DE: On or about August 5, 2024, employees were exposed to cave-ins and/or struck by hazards while working without any protective systems as well of having soil piles less than 3 feet from the trench opening. The trench was measured at approximately 5 ft. in depth, 8 foot in width and greater than 15 in length.
