29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) E-Coat & Liquid Line; Stages 1 through 10: On December 16, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to amputation and engulfment hazards; in that, the employer did not develop, document, and use energy isolation procedures as employees entered the equipment to perform maintenance activities such as but not limited to, unjamming the line by retrieving products that had fallen from the conveyor system.
