29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2): Employees were not protected from excavated or other materials or equipment that could pose a hazard by falling or rolling into excavations, or by a combination of both if necessary. On or about July 17, 2024, and at times prior to, at the east side of the jobsite, a subcontractor employee worked in an excavation where an excavator and pipes were adjacent to the edge of the excavation. Cherokee Pride Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1493069, citation number 04, item number 03 and was affirmed as a final order on August 2, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at the corner of 91st and Aspen in Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
