29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A):Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation: On or about July 16, 2024, the employer failed to ensure that authorized employees received training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the entry available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation. Employees in the Raw Materials process of the Saw Department are exposed to energy sources including, but not limited to, electricity, hydraulics, and mechanical when they perform maintenance activities including, but not limited to changing the inserts and jaws on the CNC Lathe number 47659 and the blade on the Amada Band Saws.
