29 CFR 1910.94(b)(5)(v): Hoods for polishing and buffing and scratch-brush wheels were not constructed to conform as closely to figure G-4 as the nature of the work will permit. (a) In the Polishing Area: On or about June 18, 2024, the hood on the left-hand side pedestal polishing unit did not completely enclose the sides of the polishing wheel, exposing employees to the rotating shaft of the polishing unit.
