29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1): Employers did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use. York Analytical Laboratories Inc. (II), 132-02 89th Avenue, Suite # 217, Richmond Hill, NY 11418. a) On or about 6/12/2024, Lab Technician employees engaged in water, soil extraction, and laboratory preparations used hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to, Sodium hypochlorite solution (>= 10 - < 20 %), methanol (<= 100 %), and formic acid (99%). Safety Data Sheets were not available for employee's review. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
