29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(i):The employer did not ensure that each employee with occupational exposure participated in a Bloodborne Pathogens training program: a) American Legion Ambulance Association of Elmer: On or about 5/9/2024 the employer did not provide Bloodborne Pathogens training to employees with occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious material who were required to treat patients involved in medical emergencies, such as, but not limited to motor vehicle accidents or industrial accidents. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19. American Legion Ambulance Association of Elmer was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, its equivalent, or essentially similar standard , 29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1696301, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/30/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 30 Broad Street Elmer, NJ 08318.
