29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): (a)On or about April 25, 2024, at a jobsite located at W193 N4914 Tea Tree Dr., Menomonee Falls, WI, the employer did not ensure employees on the roof of the structure engaged in re-roofing of a residential home were protected from fall hazards. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 13 feet from the roof to the ground below. The JC Siding, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1674359, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 1/11/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 9714 Bergamount Drive, Franklin, WI 53132. The JC Siding, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1643732, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/24/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 1825 Yorkville Meadows, Union Grove, WI 53182. The JC Siding, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1579161 , citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/1/2022 , with respect to a workplace located at 1964 Cheyenne Avenue, Grafton, WI 53024.
