29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed. At an establishment located at N2915 County Road AB in Luxemburg, Wisconsin: a) On or about April 22, 2024, the employer did not conduct periodic inspections of their energy control procedures at least annually to ensure that the procedures and the requirements of the standard were followed on the RH Cryovac, Cooker #1, RMC #1 carousel, RMC #1 molder, RMC #2 carousel, RMC #2 molder, Milk Minerals Dryer (MMD), and Permeate Dryer to ensure employees were protected from potential entanglement, amputation, asphyxiation, and fire hazards by performing a periodic inspection to performing cleaning activities in the machines.
