29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service: At the shipping & receiving department of the facility, employee(s) conducting powered industrial truck operations are exposed to struck-by hazards. The employer did not ensure that powered industrial truck(s) used to move materials were inspected daily to discover equipment defects prior to start of shift. A Toyota forklift truck (S/N: 03908) in the shipping & receiving department had worn, chunking forklift tires.
