29 CFR 1926.1435(f)(2): Pre-erection inspection. Before each crane component is erected, it must be inspected by a qualified person for damage or excessive wear. a) On or about April 04, 2024, at 333 N New River Drive East, Fort Lauderdale FL 33301, employer did not ensure pre inspection of each crane component including, but not limited to, the U-bolt (clamps/clips), bolts, pins, thimble, wire rope of the Terex Top Climbing System- Trolly Rail Guide (TRG) was adequately inspected by a qualified person for damage or excessive wear, exposing employees to a fall greater than 300 feet to the ground.
