29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(6): Unsecured ladder(s) were used on surfaces that were not stable and level: a. 1421-23 Putnam Ave., Plainfield, NJ - Roof The employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falls. Employees engaged in residential roofing activities used the upper slide rail section of Werner unsecured extension ladders for access to the first level of the roof where the ladder was not erected on a stable and level surface. Violation observed on or about March 30, 2024 A & A Roofing Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection Number 1531346, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on December 6, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 16 Tylers Way, Voorhees, NJ.
