29 CFR 1910.119(l)(1):The employer did not establish or implement written procedures to manage changes to process chemicals, technology, equipment, and procedures, and changes to facilities that affect a covered process: (a)Smithfield Foods, Inc. at 1400 North Weber Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57103: On or about and at times prior to March 27, 2024, the employer did not ensure that a written management of change was created prior to abandoning an in-line Evaporator 0205 from the ammonia system. This condition exposed employees to anhydrous ammonia.
