29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). (a) On or about March 28, 2024, on the roof of a residential home located at 533 Broadmoore Drive, Hartford, WI 53027, employees conducting roofing work on an existing residential roof with a 4:12 pitch, were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately nine feet over the house and nine and a half feet over the garage of the residential property. MBE Roofing Specialists LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1633682, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 7, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 309-315, 317-323 South Brookfield Road, Brookfield, WI 53045. MBE Roofing Specialist LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1705645, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12-22-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 440 North University Drive, Waukesha, WI.
