29 CFR 1910.23(b)(13): The employer did not ensure that no employee carries any object or load that could cause the employee to lose balance and fall while climbing up or down the ladder: a) On or about 01/25/2024 and at times prior, throughout the store; employees were exposed to fall hazards of up to 8 feet when using a Werner 8ft type I fiberglass step ladder model #6008 to reach overhead and carry boxes and other merchandise down from Overhead Storage Platform (OSP). b) On or about 01/25/2024 and at times prior, in the back storage/breakroom area; employees were exposed to fall hazards of up to 8 feet when using a Werner 8ft type I fiberglass step ladder model #6008 to reach shelving/racks and carry supplies stored on the Mezzanine above bathroom.
