29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Warehouse roof: On or about January 29, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 19-feet to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities using the roof as a walking/working surface.
