29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were used for purposes other than the purposes for which they were designed. On or about December 15, 2023, and times prior thereto at this workplace employees conducted exterior siding installation operations worked from closed self-supporting stepladders leaning against an exterior wall and the ladders were not used for its intended purposed design. This action would cause the ladder to be unstable leading to fall and struck by hazards from unsupported construction materials.
