29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) Paint shop - southeast corner; Two Delta (Model: 18-900L) drill presses were operated without guarding for the chuck and bit, respectively. (b) Fabrication area - eastern section of facility; Various Hougen (Model: HMD904) magnetic drills were operated without guarding for the chuck and bit, respectively. (c) Throughout facility; Various DeWALT (Models: DCG412 & DWE402) hand-held angle grinders were operated without guarding to cut, grind, and sand steel material.
