29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): At a worksite located at 2768 11th Street, Lee's Summit, MO, 64081, employees were exposed to fall hazards. The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing the employees to work at heights greater than 6 feet without the use of fall protection or mitigation measures. This hazard was most recently observed on 10/16/2023. Instances of exposure include but are not limited to: Instance 1: Employees were exposed to fall hazards due to the potential of falling over the eastern wall and to the exterior ground level below. Instance 2: Employees were exposed to fall hazards due to the potential of falling backwards off of the eastern wall to the interior second level of the structure.
