29 CFR 1926.405(j)(2)(ii): A receptacle installed in a wet or damp location was not designed for the location: a. On or about 19 September 2023, at Pier #4, Cruises Terminal, San Juan, PR. Employees were exposed to electrical and drowning hazards as employees engaged in marine construction were standing inside the water from a working platform with an electrical tool. The electrical tool being used was connected to an electrical receptacle not protected against the weather and water elements. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
