Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): If at any time a powered industrial truck is found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe, the truck shall be taken out of service until it has been restored to safe operating condition. On or about September 5, 2023, at an establishment located at 4852 Elm Street in Laona, Wisconsin; employees were exposed to hazards related to powered industrial vehicle operation while utilizing a Clark propane forklift, Model: GCX30, which was missing chunks of rubber and had cracks in the rubber to the rim on the front left and both back steering tires.
