29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv): Flexible cords and/ or cables were used for purposes prohibited by paragraphs (A) through (F) of 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(a); 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(C): Flexible cords and cables were run through doorways. On or about August 2, 2023 and times prior thereto at Dollar General Store #1896 located at 1464 W Buckingham Rd Garland, TX 75042 an energized electrical flexible cord was run through an interior doorway exposing employees to electrical and fire hazards. a) In back of store a plugged in energized electrical flexible cord from the "excess storage room/break room" was run through an interior doorway to power electrical box fans. The Dolgencorp Inc. DBA; Dollar General was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(C)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1510662, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 3, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at100 North Menomonie Street Ridgeland, WI 54763.
