29 CFR 1910.140(c)(11)(ii):29 CFR 1910.23(c)(11)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each horizontal lifeline was part of a complete personal fall arrest system that maintains a safety factor of at least two. a) Wash Bays: The employer did not ensure that the horizontal lifeline used for fall protection during truck washouts maintained a safety factor of at least two. Observed on or about 7/28/23. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
