29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2):Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. On or about July 17, 2022, employees who performed rebar work were exposed to electrical shock hazards due to the employer failing to inspect the power cord that was damaged. The damaged cord was used to power electrical fan.
