29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to upper landing surfaces, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3-feet (0.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladders were used to gain access. On or about 14 April 2023, one employee of Crossroads Roofing & Contracting, LLC was observed working on the roof of a two-story residential building located at 2566 Barter St. in Saint Charles, Missouri. The ladder that the employee was using to access the roof was not extended at least three feet beyond the upper landing or edge of the roof. REPEAT- Crossroads Roofing & Contracting, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection number 1526010 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order date on 12 July 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 1605 N. 16th Street in St. Louis, MO.
